January 10, 2019: Las Vegas, NV 89113 The Calvary Chapel Christian Lions basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Needles Mustangs to 30 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laughlin for a 2A Southern contest on Friday, January 11. Calvary Chapel Christian will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-46 non-league win over GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
The Mustangs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Laughlin (Laughlin, NV). The Cougars enter the 2A Southern contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Laughlin was routed by Calvary Chapel Christian (Las Vegas, NV), 46-21, in a league contest.
