In Friday's league match, the visiting Americas Trail Blazers basketball team scored a tight 52-46 triumph over the Coronado Thunderbirds.

In their next game, the Trail Blazers meet the Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 match, on Tuesday, February 13. Americas will attempt to move on its 23-8 season record.
