Arizona High School Basketball - Coronado crushes San Carlos

Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Carlos Braves (San Carlos, AZ), 66-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Dons travel to Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ) to clash with the Prospectors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Prospectors go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Apache Junction won 50-14 in their recent non-league bout against Superior (Superior, AZ)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. San Carlos will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 69-53 non-league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ).
