Texas High School Football - Midland Christian held off by Americas

In Friday's non-league game, the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) football team tipped the host Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX), by a final score of 35-28.

The Trail Blazers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Onate (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Onate was tipped by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 35-0, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wall for a non-league game on Friday, September 13. Midland Christian will battle a Hawks team coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
