Kansas High School Basketball - Clay Center overwhelmed by Smoky Valley
January 25, 2019: Clay Center, KS 67432 The Smoky Valley Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Clay Center Tigers to 29 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a non-league contest on Monday, January 28. Smoky Valley will battle a Celtics team coming off a 75-71 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Salina, KS). The Celtics record now stands at 8-3.
The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Jeffs come into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record.
