The Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) basketball nipped the visiting Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE), 29-22 in Friday's league test.

The Huskies (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Utica, NE). The Broncos go into the C2 District 4 test with a 16-6 record. In their last test, Centennial was tipped by Aquinas (David City, NE), 43-41, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Nebraska Lutheran for a D2 District 2 test on Monday, February 11. Osceola will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 57-35 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, NE). The Knights record now stands at 7-13.
