The Hays Indians (Hays, KS) football defeated the visiting Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), 31-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 3. Hays will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 35-6 non-league win over Andover (Andover, KS).
