The Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team (Apache Junction, AZ), was nudged 48-46 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ)

The Mustangs now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cienega for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13. Sahuarita will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 67-60 non-league win over Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Prospectors (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ). The Rattlers come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Crismon was nudged by Payson (Payson, AZ), 75-51, in a non-league battle.
