March 19, 2019: Benton, IL 62812 The Benton Rangers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Wayne City Indians to 0 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Benton improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Rangers travel to Eldorado (Eldorado, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, March 21. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-2. Eldorado lost 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Pope County (Golconda, IL)
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 22. Wayne City will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Foxes come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 23-4 non-league win over Webber (Bluford, IL).
