Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ), 51-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ) to play the Dust Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, December 13. The Dust Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Santa Cruz Valley lost 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Apaches play the Cibecue/Dischii Biko Wildcats (Cibecue, AZ) in a 1A South bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Fort Thomas will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 75-64 non-league loss to Valley (Sanders, AZ).
