The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), 55-24 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Farmville Central for a 2A Eastern Plains bout on Friday, December 13. SouthWest Edgecombe will play a Jaguars team coming off a 83-46 non-league win over Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Nash Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12.
