Kansas High School Basketball - Skyline overwhelms Burrton
February 12, 2019: Pratt, KS 67124 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS) and the visiting Burrton Chargers (Burrton, KS), saw Skyline's basketball squad wallop Burrton by a tally of 83-46.
With the victory, Skyline improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Fairfield (Langdon, KS) to play the Falcons in a Heart of the Plains challenge on Friday, February 15. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-17.
Next up, the Chargers play the Cunningham Wildcats (Cunningham, KS) in a Heart of the Plains challenge, on Friday, February 15. Burrton will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 59-26 league loss to Norwich (Norwich, KS).
