Arizona High School Volleyball - Sahuaro over Amphitheater

April 24, 2023: Tucson, AZ 85705

Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Gila match, on Tuesday, April 25. Sahuaro will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Dorados come into the match with a 10-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ).

With the loss, Amphitheater drops to 2-20 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Thunderbolts in a 4A Gila match on Wednesday, April 26. The Thunderbolts come into the match with a record of 13-14. Mica Mountain won 3-1 in their recent league match against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ)
