Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest fells Elk Grove
February 22, 2020: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 48-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 18-11 on the season. The Scouts travel to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to meet the Patriots in a North Suburban contest on Wednesday, February 26. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 24-4. Stevenson won 51-35 in their recent non-league contest against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
The Grenadiers (4-26) will now prepare for their contest against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 6-21 record. In their last contest, Conant ran past Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 52-42, in a league contest.
