The Anacortes Seahawks basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs to 43 in the Seahawks league triumph on Friday.

The Seahawks now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, January 22.

The Lyncs (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Nooksack Valley was nudged by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 63-29, in a league contest.
