In Saturday's non-league outing, the McPherson County Longhorns (Tryon, NE) basketball squad beat the visiting Elba Bluejays (Elba, NE), by a count of 38-18.

The Longhorns (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Wallace was topped by Maxwell (Maxwell, NE), 57-30, in a league outing.

The Bluejays now hold a 0-19 record. They play next when they travel to Stapleton for a non-league outing on Friday, February 8.
