The Riverheads Gladiators football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Essex Trojans to 6 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Saturday.

The Gladiators now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilhowie for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 8. Riverheads will play a Warriors squad coming off a 28-7 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 15-0.
