August 31, 2018: Canton, OH 44708 The McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) football defeated the visiting Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), 31-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 7. McKinley will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV).
The Griffins (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Woodridge was toppled by Nordonia (Macedonia, OH), 44-13, in a non-league bout.
