In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Dowling Catholic Maroons football squad scored a good 31-9 victory over the Valley Tigers.

In their next game, the Maroons clash with the Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 9. Dowling Catholic will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 6-5 record after their 21-7 non-league win over Johnston (Johnston, IA).
