Alabama High School Baseball - Athens loses to Sallisaw
March 20, 2019: Athens, AL 35612 In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Sallisaw Black Diamonds baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Athens Golden Eagles.
The Black Diamonds (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Poteau overcame Stigler (Stigler, OK), 12-2, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (12-7) will now prepare for their game against Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Golden Bears go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record.
