Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Santee Falcons (Los Angeles, CA), 19-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Toreadors now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. Taft will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Santee falls to 11-7 on the campaign.
