January 22, 2019: Carrollton, TX 75006 International Leadership of Texas Garland Eagles (Garland, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Anna Coyotes (Anna, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 30. International Leadership of Texas Garland will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over North Lamar (Paris, TX).
The Trojans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mesquite for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 25. Newman Smith will confront a Wranglers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over John Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 7-2.
