Missouri High School Basketball - Republic overwhelms Joplin
February 7, 2019: Republic, MO 65738 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Republic Tigers (Republic, MO) and the visiting Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO), saw Republic's basketball squad wallop Joplin by a tally of 57-9.
With the victory, Republic improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Nixa (Nixa, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Central Ozarks challenge on Monday, February 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Nixa won 73-51 in their recent league challenge against Webb City (Webb City, MO)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Carl Junction Bulldogs (Carl Junction, MO) in a Central Ozarks challenge, on Monday, February 11. Joplin will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 53-35 league loss to Ozark (Ozark, MO).
