The Ashe County Huskies walloped the host Salisbury Hornets football team by a count of 49-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Ashe County upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to encounter the Golden Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, November 23. The Golden Lions go into the outing with a record of 9-3. Shelby won 27-8 in their recent non-league outing against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

With the loss, Salisbury moves to 7-5 on the season.
