In Monday's non-league challenge, the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) baseball squad nipped the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), by a margin of 2-1.

With the win, Bishop McCort betters its record to 16-7 on the season. The Crushers travel to Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. Elk County Catholic won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Vincentian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)
