In Friday's non-league challenge, the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ), by a final score of 9-0.

With the win, Higley upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Knights host Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Pride in a 5A San Tan challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
