In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Morenci Wildcats basketball team scored a good 60-40 triumph over the Valley Union Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 2. Morenci will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Elks enter the match with a 11-8 record after their 52-37 league win over Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ).
