Arizona High School Basketball - Casa Grande nudges Sahuaro

In Thursday's league outing, the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 61-59.

The Cougars (8-17) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the 4A Kino outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Canyon del Oro was tipped by Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 69-68, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Catalina Foothills for a 4A Kino contest on Tuesday, February 11. Sahuaro will battle a Falcons team coming off a 48-39 league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 22-2.
