The Skyline Coyotes football team (Mesa, AZ), was knocked off 31-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ)

The Jaguars (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the I Section III challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Red Mountain knocked off Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 38-7, in a league challenge.

The Coyotes now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a I Section III challenge on Friday, October 17. Skyline will meet a Wolves team coming off a 49-34 league loss to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 1-6.
