Illinois High School Baseball - Marquette nips Indian Creek
March 21, 2019: Ottawa, IL 61350 Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Marquette upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Paxton-Buckley-Loda won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL)
With the defeat, Indian Creek falls to 0-1 on the season. The Timberwolves host Newark (Newark, IL) to battle the Norsemen in a Little Ten test on Thursday, April 4. The Norsemen come into the test with a record of 0-3.
