The Pinson Valley Indians basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Starr's Mill Panthers to 47 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay-Chalkville for a 6A Area 12 contest on Tuesday, January 8.

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carver (Montgomery, AL). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Carver was defeated by Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL), 59-41, in a non-league contest.
