October 12, 2018: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Martins Ferry Purple Riders football team (Martins Ferry, OH), was ripped 43-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV)
The Maroon Knights (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH). The Senators come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Portsmouth West was ripped by Waverly (Waverly, OH), 35-19, in a league challenge.
