The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Sedgwick County Cougars to 16 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Plainsmen now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maxwell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Perkins County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 40-28 non-league loss to Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-13.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Dragons enter the 2A/1A Lower Platte contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Holyoke triumphed over Perkins County (Grant, NE), 71-56, in a non-league contest.
