California High School Basketball - Bishop Amat crushes Morningside

Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA), 68-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Amat upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lancers host Salesian (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Salesian won 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against University (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 27. Morningside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 68-43 non-league loss to Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
