Arizona High School Basketball - Mogollon knocked off by Valley

The Valley Pirates basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Mogollon Mustangs to 38 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradshaw Mountain for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 11. Valley will battle a Bears team coming off a 34-24 non-league win over Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 7-1.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Silver was defeated by Round Valley (Eagar, AZ), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
