California High School Softball - Patriot gets by Montclair
March 8, 2018: Riverside, CA 92509 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Patriot Warriors (Riverside, CA) and the visiting Montclair Cavaliers (Montclair, CA), witnessed Patriot's softball squad tip Montclair by a count of 6-5.
The Warriors now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ramona for a River Valley match on Thursday, March 15. Patriot will meet a Rams squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.

Thursday's game against Patriot HS was a heartbreaker for Montclair HS, as they lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat. The game was tied at five with Patriot HS batting in the bottom of the sixth when D Armendariz singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
