Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), 18-7 in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban test on Wednesday, May 1. Libertyville will face a Bears squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Bears record now stands at 5-6.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Lincoln-Way Central/Lincoln-Way East/Lincoln-Way West/Lincoln-Way North (New Lenox, IL) in a Southwestern test, on Monday, April 29.
