Texas High School Football - East Central succumbs to Steele

October 9, 2020: San Antonio, TX 78263

The Steele Knights thwarted the host East Central Hornets football squad by a tally of 24-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Knights face the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout, on Friday, October 16. Steele will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 27-24 league win over Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX).

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Antlers enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Tivy lost by Shoemaker (Killeen, TX), 56-35, in a non-league bout.
