The Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) softball routed the host Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN), 10-5 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Hawks (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Bloomington South was routed by Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN), 6-1, in a league bout.

The Artesians now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Plainfield for a Mid-State bout on Friday, April 20. Martinsville will confront a Quakers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Avon (Avon, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 4-3.
