The Killingly Redmen basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Wheeler Lions to 27 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Redmen now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tourtellotte for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 27. Killingly will battle a Tigers team coming off a 46-29 league loss to Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.

The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ellis RVT (Killingly, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ellis RVT was nudged by Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT), 46-20, in a non-league contest.
