Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers confront the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 29. Lone Star will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Centennial (Frisco, TX).

The Wolverines now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frisco for a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge on Friday, February 1.
