The Mt. Vernon Wildcats topped the visiting Parke Heritage volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pike Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 25. Mt. Vernon will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Loogootee (Loogootee, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 3-1.

The (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Western (Russiaville, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
