North Carolina High School Football - Cedar Ridge held off by Carrboro

August 24, 2019: Hillsborough, NC 27278

Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 24-18 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carrboro improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. East Chapel Hill lost 51-46 in their recent non-league test against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)

With the loss, Cedar Ridge drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Fighting red wolves host Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-0.
