Oregon High School Basketball - Portland Christian knocked off by Santiam
December 28, 2017: Mill City, OR 97360 The Santiam Wolverines basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Portland Christian Royals to 43 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Mennonite for a 2A Tri-River contest on Friday, December 29.
The Royals (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Umatilla was defeated by Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR), 78-29, in a non-league contest.
