In Friday's non-league game, the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) football team tipped the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), by a final score of 28-21.

The Pride (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Champions come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Cesar Chavez got by Camelback (Phoenix, AZ), 8-6, in a non-league game.

The Bobcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Canyon for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Central will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 49-7 non-league loss to Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-3.
