California High School Basketball - Taft tops Kennedy

January 17, 2019: Taft, CA 93268

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) and the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad knock off Kennedy by a tally of 59-48.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Shafter (Shafter, CA) to play the Generals in a South Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Shafter lost 58-47 in their recent league challenge against Chavez (Delano, CA)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a South Sequoia challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 84-50 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA).
