New York High School Basketball - Horace Mann defeats Bronx High School of Science
January 28, 2025: Riverdale, NY 10471 The Horace Mann Lions (Riverdale, NY) basketball were winner over the visiting Bronx High School of Science Wolverines (Bronx, NY), 69-58 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Collegiate for a PSAL Area NYSAIS Ivy bout on Friday, January 31.
With the loss, Bronx High School of Science falls to 17-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Evander Childs (Bronx, NY) to play the Tigers in a PSAL 3A Bronx I bout on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers enter the outing with a record of 10-2. Evander Childs won 83-54 in their recent league outing against Columbus (Bronx, NY)
