Florida High School Basketball - Lake Wales fells Booker
January 22, 2019: Lake Wales, FL 33853 Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL), 68-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Wales upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Highlanders travel to DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-11. DeSoto County won 61-57 in their recent non-league bout against Community Christian (Port Charlotte, FL)
Next up, the Tornadoes clash with the Sebring Blue Streaks (Sebring, FL) in a 6A District 10 bout, on Friday, January 25. Booker will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 61-50 non-league win over Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL).
