Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), 70-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hanks upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Madison (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 17. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Madison lost 87-55 in their recent non-league bout against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Reagan Rattlers (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 16. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Rattlers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 48-37 non-league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX).
