Maryland High School Football - Sparrows Point routed by New Town
October 4, 2019: Baltimore, MD 21219 The Sparrows Point Pointers football team (Baltimore, MD), was ripped 33-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting New Town (Owings Mills, MD)
The (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record.
The Pointers now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Tech for a Baltimore County 2A challenge on Friday, October 11. Sparrows Point will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 41-19 non-league loss to Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-3.
